WHO QUALIFIES FOR A GRANT?

*Christian Families - GGAM believes that the most important benefit of adoption to orphaned children is to be raised in an atmosphere that cultivates and encourages their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

*Two Parent Families - GGAM recognizes the profound importance of the institutions of marriage and the family in the lives of children.

*Annual Household Income - Adoption expenses will challenge almost every family's finances. Due to the profile of families applying, GGAM is currently considering families with annual household incomes of sixty thousand dollars or less.

HOW DOES THE APPLICATION PROCESS WORK?

Step 3 - GGAM's approval committee meets the third week of every other month to make decisions regarding grant commitments. All applicants are notified by mail of the grant decisions.

HOW DOES THE ADOPTION AID GRANT WORK?

*The grant is not funded until after placement of the adoptive child(ren) into the applicant's custody.
*The funds are dispersed directly toward adoption expenses. i.e. adoption agency fees, legal fees, travel expenses, etc.
